TaskTask for Outlook Tasks App Reviews

Ugh

Why didnt I heed the other reviews? Now Ill never see my $4.99 again. Run.

Very good, almost great...

9/2016 Update: I have had some sync issues with Office 365 which seem to have been fixed by deleting my account and going through the set up process again. Im not sure if this was caused by changes on our side or with the application. I still think this is the best task app out there. Although now I would really like to see support for split screen (on iPad) and rich text in the notes. I frequently input links and other text in notes and I order to edit them from this app I have to convert to plain text- removing links and formatting. Original review: Ive found very few task apps have the features Im looking for. Categories that sync with an MSExchange server, for example. TaskTask has the features but also a very simple to-the-point task list with custom filters and arrangements - that doesnt alter the format of my content created in Outlook. (I had an app that didnt show capitalization as it was entered.) If it werent for a few bugs, like adding attachments to newly created tasks or not maintaining category changes, it would great.

Perfect for syncing with Exchange Tasks

Shows all my Exchange tasks and allows me to edit, create and share them from my phone. Hard to find apps with this capability in the app store. Its not super pretty, but is extremely functional with a straightforward interface. Love it.

Listen to the reviews

Dont waste your money if you have a personal office 365 account. It will not recognize your email unless it is a work or educational email address. So, you will not be able to use the app. I didnt see anything saying it has to be business subscription to Office 365 and requiring a business email. What a waste of money. Maybe Apple will refund my money.

Best To Do App. Does Everything!

It syncs with Outlook. You can attach files. You can categorize your tasks.I have tried just about every to do app for iPhone and this is the best one Ive found. Currently there is a problem with the manual sort option and the developer has not responded. But otherwise you cant beat this app.

Does not work with two factor identification

My companies exchange server uses two factor identification, and this app would not sync. It says it on the faq, but I read that after downloading. Whoops.

Dont Buy It

Dont buy it.

Worked Fast with Exchange and MYN View

I almost didnt download the app due to bad recent reviews for the current version. However, I took a chance and configured this for my work task management with Exchange using the Master Your Now system which this app supports with a selection you make on load. It was easy. It was fast. Its working wonderfully! Also, if you dont have a system like "Getting Things Done" for personal task management, I highly recommend Master Your Now which is designed also to keep your INBOX at 0 messages!

AWESOME!!!

IMG i am so glad i bought this app. Installed in seconds, connected immediately, and now i have outlook tasks on my iphone. I love it!!

Latest update broke everything

It doesnt sync at all.

Latest update does not sync with Exchange

Latest update does not sync with Exchange, so is unusable

Missing iOS Sharing

Love the app. I have both my work Exchange and personal Outlook.com accounts sync. Personally for myself the only thing that is missing is that I cant share/print my task lists. When I go to "Forward List" it drives to open up my default iPhone mail app that I do not use. I had it removed because I use the Outlook app for email. I wish there was an iOS share option where I could use my Outlook app to forward my list via email or access to AirPrint so I can print to my printer via Wi-Fi.

One of my most used apps

Simply indispensable for syncing to outlook servers.

Flippin awesome. Thanks.

It loaded instantly and was surprisingly easy to set up. Sucked in all of my folders without a hitch. So far works well. I didnt find the "search" function at first, but did a "pull down" while in a folder and voila, the text entry field appeared at the top. Simple but elegant, just enough good info to make it plenty functional. Solid

Great but needs iOS 8 update

Great app but becoming outdated. No update in 6 months. Needs iOS 8 update for larger phones.

Best exchange to do list

I use my to do list in outlook (on exchange) extensively. This is the best app the most closely mimics the feel of outlook. I organize tasks not to appear until their start date and this app does it beautifully. Best task app out there! Thanks!

No background Sync. No iPhone 6 resolution.

Almost useless. The app has no background sync support, and no support for iPhone 6 resolution. The app has not been updated since August 2014. Very disappointed.

Has potential...

PROS: (1) It syncs with MS Exchange (2) Intuitive CONS: (1) No background sync (2) Outdated design and resolution (3) No integration with notification center (4) Delayed updates

Task Task App

Beware of this application because it does not sync with exchange server as advertised. It is advertised as thinking easily with the Microsoft exchange server. I have two separate exchange account and it would not synchronize with either one of them. Even after trying to determine very difficult configuration settings, reading the FAQ, and even speaking with computer administrator at a major university, I was still unable to get this application to function. I have multiple other applications which synchronize with exchange server easily and flawlessly. This is not one of them. I have requested a refund.

No rich text formatting

I use Outlook Tasks to handle my day to day work activity. These are often months long tasks that I update and include colored highlighting and certain formats. It has been near impossible to find a mobile solution thats compatible which amazes me. Is Outlook restricting this? Otherwise yes this app looks pretty good. Though sync time takes a very long time in my short experience. Ill be requesting a refund.
